Senior Designer (Hospitality Interiors)

One of the world’s leading architecture and design firms is seeking a Senior Designer (Hospitality Interiors). As part of the Lifestyle Studio, you will join a center of excellence dedicated to the successful delivery of hospitality & residential projects throughout the Asia-Pacific Middle East region and globally. As a Senior Designer with Interior Design expertise in the Hospitality and Residential sectors, you will combine creativity and technical knowledge with your deep understanding of the hospitality & residential industry to produce functionally beautiful spaces.You will collaborate with Design Directors and wider team of architects and designers & will lead the team to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the design and detail development and construction documentation phase of a project. Specific responsibilities

• Collaborate on design projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development.
• Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
• Resolve complex technical and design issues.
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
• Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction.
• Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Qualifications required

• Advanced degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.

• 15+ years of related design experience, including a demonstrable ability to deliver projects from start to completion, with extensive experience in interior design project delivery.

• Hospitality industry experience required, specifically experience in the design of guest rooms

• Flexibility to focus on a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.

• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Outstanding graphic presentation skills

• Revit skills are highly valued

• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Up and 3-D Studio Max preferred
