As a Sr. Designer, you will work within an engineering team to take design and construction projects from a defined concept to completion. You will design building systems, perform engineering calculations, produce construction documents, and prepare technical documentation while working collaboratively to coordinate your work across an integrated team of other designers, architects, and engineers. In addition to following WD Partners values, policies and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce designs and calculations for building systems
  • Produce system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, reports and specifications
  • Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed and constructible project solutions
  • Adhere to WD Partners' engineering design guidelines, methodologies, and standards
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes

    • Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in India. We also have offices in Mumbai and Bangalore.

    Schedule: Our work hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM - 7PM. No weekend work hours.

    Necessary Experience:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Advanced work experience in modeling and designing, typically 5+ years work experience
  • HVAC expertise is required and plumbing knowledge is helpful
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Must be able to independently manage projects (project management focus, not people management)
  • Experience with US projects is preferred, Gulf project experience is also acceptable
  • Experience working with projects in WD's client industries, such as restaurant, retail, and/or healthcare is ideal
