Job Description Job Description Senior Designer/Coordinator - Civil Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer/Coordinator to join our team! This candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in CAD software to support land development projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. We are a civil engineering consulting firm that offers innovative design and project management services that are tailored to serve each client's engineering goals and needs. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed CAD drawings and designs for civil engineering projects including land development. Work off redlines or detailed sketches to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Use company standards for drafting including line and character styles, layer names, drawings, and file names for sheet layout. Handle AutoCAD transfers. Analyze sketches and notes to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D required. Proficient with ArcGIS software preferred. Experience in civil design, particularly in land development projects.
