What You'll Be Doing

The Senior Developer – SAP Fiori + ABAP is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and enhancing user experiences within SAP applications using Fiori design principles. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5, ABAP, and backend integration, along with a collaborative mindset to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional consultants and end users to discover, design, and develop SAP solutions.


• Lead development, testing, and delivery of SAP Fiori and ABAP applications.


• Define and implement coding standards and naming conventions.


• Assist in testing and validation to ensure development requirements are met.


• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices.


• Analyze high-level business processes and translate them into technical solutions.


• Participate in quality management tasks including code reviews, version control, and transport management.


• Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum or DevOps in development cycles.

Functional/Technical Competencies

• SAP Fiori design principles and SAP UI5 application development


• ABAP programming for backend logic and data modeling


• OData protocol and service development


• SAP Gateway integration for Fiori applications


• Front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery


• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), and CDS Views


• Development quality management and process streamlining

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in SAP development


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP Fiori and ABAP


• Exposure to Agile methodologies and large-scale SAP implementations

Certifications

• SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori certifications preferred

Language Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage

• External: External partners, vendors, and service providers
