• Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Schedules and performs installations and upgrades per established policies and procedures.

• Research existing and emerging hardware and software technologies to determine capabilities, and develop ongoing computer systems solutions that meet performance and budgetary requirements.

• Provide guidance and assign tasks to Associates and Server Engineers 

• Support our Plants/Offices globally. Travel to these plants may be required

• Collaborate with the network team to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of software and systems, which will help fulfill business objectives and processes.

• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports

• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

• Supporting equipment in a Microsoft Windows/Linux environment, from design through implementation and support.

• Supporting, installing, and configuring VMware ESXi in an enterprise environment, from design through implementation and support

• Develops, designs and operates data protection and disaster recovery architectures to secure company data for all locations globally

• Coordinating the development, training, and exercise of a recovery plan for all locations globally

• Work with Cloud Consultant to ensure off-site backups for D2D systems.

Support and Manage servers, storage and workloads running in Azure/AWS

Project Documentation & Tracking

• This employee could be responsible for supervising contractors and vendors during the installation and repair of systems, either locally or remotely. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related equivalent work experience.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent experience
  •  At least 3 years of related experience managing large enterprise infrastructure/network environments, performing hardware and software server engineering, designing and implementing on-prem and cloud systems.
  • Extensive experience working in large-scale cloud/server/storage environments.
  • A thorough knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, and Linux systems is essential.
  • Broad experience in cloud solutions, analyzing and assessing technology to meet a broad and diverse set of customers’ infrastructure needs, including expertise in deploying PaaS and IaaS base solutions to a diverse constituency within a multi-vendor environment.
  • Proven experience with system planning, security principles, and general software management best practices. 
  • A thorough knowledge of modern backup software, design concepts, and DR solutions. Based on cloud and local technologies. 
  • Working knowledge of patching software such as LANDesk and WSUS.
  • Enhanced knowledge of server security and server hardening for Windows/Linux Servers
  • Experience with planning, implementation, and administration of enterprise-level server solutions.
  • Experience implementing SAN/NAS systems in an enterprise environment using enterprise-level storage systems
  • Extensive experience in configuring storage replication between storage systems.
  • Availability to Internacional travels 1 or 2 times in the year 
  • Advance level of English
