Job Description
A well-established, India-based organisation operating at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and enterprise is seeking a senior leader to drive organisation-wide strategy, execution, and people leadership across its core business and technology functions.
This is a high-impact, quasi-corporate leadership role with a clear succession orientation. The position is designed for an individual who can operate as a strategic integrator and, over time, assume responsibility as the de facto head of technology-led programmes and business functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide organisation-wide leadership across technology, innovation, and business portfolios
- Set strategic direction, priorities, and performance frameworks for large, multi-disciplinary teams
- Drive scale-up of technology-enabled solutions and enterprise models with clear revenue and impact outcomes
- Ensure strong alignment between technology development, business strategy, and market deployment
- Oversee P&L-linked initiatives, partnerships, and long-term growth opportunities
- Build and strengthen second-line leadership; mentor senior managers and domain heads
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between technology, operations, partnerships, and business development teams
- Represent the organisation with senior stakeholders, partners, and clients across public and private ecosystems
Leadership & People Management (Core Focus)
- Act as a senior institutional leader and culture carrier
- Manage and develop senior leaders across functions and geographies
- Drive accountability, performance management, and leadership depth
- Create a high-trust, high-performance environment focused on outcomes and scale
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in senior leadership roles spanning technology, infrastructure, sustainability, consulting, or business management
- Proven track record of managing large teams, complex portfolios, and senior stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and guide technology-driven initiatives
- Experience working with or within private sector, consulting firms, infrastructure organisations, or scaled mission-driven enterprises
- Comfortable operating across domains rather than within a single sector specialisation
- Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation
