Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Draftsman with extensive experience in preparing high-quality construction and shop drawings. The role focuses on detailed drafting, documentation, and supporting BIM-based projects in coordination with BIM Modelers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Architectural / Structural / MEP drawings and model using Auto CAD and Revit
- Develop GFC, IFC, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
- Assist in BIM model updates based on design changes and site inputs
- Extract drawings and basic quantities from BIM models
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams for drawing clarifications
- Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation records
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards
Software Skills
- Auto CAD (mandatory)
- Revit (Architecture / Structure / MEP –Mandatory)
- Navisworks (basic knowledge preferred)
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- BIM certification is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong drafting and detailing skills
- Good understanding of construction drawings and execution
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
