A leading health system based in southern Florida is now seeking an experienced Senior Echovascular Radiology Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare team!

The Senior Echovascular Radiology Technologist will lead high-quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound services, performing comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms, assisting with transesophageal and stress echos, and completing the full spectrum of vascular studies using 2D, M-mode, color and spectral Doppler for precise measurements and preliminary technical impressions. Daily responsibilities include patient assessment and education, protocol selection and image optimization, real-time collaboration with cardiology and vascular teams, timely documentation in PACS/EMR, triage and prioritization of ED/inpatient/outpatient add-ons, equipment operation with routine QC and preventive maintenance, participation in IAC accreditation and continuous QA, mentoring and training junior technologists, and strict adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

What's Needed to Succeed:

  • Graduate of an approved AMA Radiology Technology program
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Florida or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Proven expertise in cardiovascular ultrasonography or similar setting
