Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Experience: 6-9 Years
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Electrical Design Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in the electrical design domain, preferably within the industrial segment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in electrical systems design, layout development, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform essential design calculations including short circuit analysis, earthing, lighting, cable & equipment sizing , and LPS (Lightning Protection System) design.
Work closely with detailing teams to prepare construction-ready drawings such as lighting layouts, power distribution, cable trays, routing, schedules, LPS, and earthing layouts.
Design and layout ELV and IT systems , including structured cabling, CCTV, and security systems.
Prepare BOQ/BOM for entire electrical works as per project requirements.
Ensure design compliance with applicable IS, NBC, and IEC standards.
Conduct routine inspection and testing of equipment.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications:
B. E. / B. Tech / M. E. / M. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
9–10 years of experience in electrical system design (industrial projects preferred).
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Dialux, ETAP , and MS Office tools.
Strong understanding of national and international electrical standards.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
Candidates from Gujarat will be preferred.
