The Opportunity
 

You will play a key role in the Buildings Management Team, taking responsibility for the operational performance, technical excellence, and leadership of the Electrical discipline, as well as project delivery. Additionally, you will serve as the Project Manager (PM) for selected multi-disciplinary or single-disciplinary projects. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential for all aspects of this role. 

In this role you will be the Technical Authority for Electrical Engineering - driving technical solutions, leading design reviews and driving innovation. You will lead and manage and develop a team of engineering professionals - Imparting your knowledge to develop a strong team. You'll manage projects from proposal to contract, ensuring high-quality delivery and cost efficiency, managing stakeholders and risks, and ensure compliance. This role will be diverse and give you the opportunity to work on a variety of building services projects across high rise, commercial, hotels, shopping malls, metro stations etc

Is this role right for you

We are looking for people who: 

Are electrical building services design experts with a Electrical Engineering or other recognized qualification 
Have a minimum 15 years of experience with 6+ of relevant experience working on projects in the Middle East, either in-country or from a remote design office.
Experience in designing the building services on a range of projects including high rise, commercial, hotels, shopping malls, metro stations etc
Have extensive experience working in a design consultancy, both as a designer and a technical authority, with a proven track record in delivering projects with no restrictions on traveling overseas (e.g., UAE and KSA) for client meetings and workshops 
Have strong experience in strong client-facing skills and experience in leading and managing engineering teams and multi-disciplinary projects. 
Knowledge of market trends and competitiveness positioning with demonstrated proficiency in project bidding and proposal preparation
