Senior Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Engineering-Kuala Lumpur

Overview

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project design criteria and develop the Basis of Design (BOD).

Act as the technical leader managing consultants to implement the project from schematic design through design development to construction documents. Serve as the technical leader managing the design-build contractor to ensure the project meets the business and technical needs defined in the BOD.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction administrative support to the project manager during construction. Tasks include, but are not limited to, responding to RFIs, issuing technical bulletins, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, conducting source inspections at vendor factories, and participating in the data center construction commissioning process.
• Identify and analyze energy-efficient solutions to minimize power losses.
• Review and develop detailed scripts for change management request (CMR) activities.
