This Sr. Electrical Designer role involves a variety of electrical design, application, and verification tasks, including modifying existing schematics or adapting previous designs to meet specific customer needs or to modernize designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret design schematics, sketches, specifications, and engineering data, ensuring the design of new machines, systems, and components or alterations to existing structures and parts.Create layouts using CAD software and evaluate designs for fit, function, manufacturability, cost, and operational feasibility.Perform basic calculations for electrical components such as fuses, starters, overload relays, and conductors, and redesign controls or units as needed to meet updated operational or design requirements.Develop design sketches, specifications, preliminary layouts, bills of material, and instructions; mai...
