Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Professional Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic design team. You will work on a variety of projects including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices. This role demands collaboration with internal staff, clients, vendors, and other disciplines. Occasional travel may be necessary for site observations and client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
  • Review, sign, and seal projects.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Prepare record drawings, conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in commissioning work.
  • Write and edit electrical equipment specifications, select equipment, electrical systems, and devices.
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately, within deadlines, and on budget.
  • Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Active PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Minimum of 2 years of mission-critical project experience, such as data centers, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (8/10) and Bluebeam (6/10).
  • . in Electrical Engineering required; . preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in designing power systems and electrical analysis.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience with data center projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large-scale standby and emergency power systems with interactive generator controls.
  • Ability to perform arc flash studies.
  • Nice to have: LEED AP BD+C certification.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
