Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for commercial buildings. We are seeking someone with at least 10 years of experience who is eager to manage projects or engineering teams. The role offers the chance to lead a team and interact with clients throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will handle employee resource management, time management, and budget analysis, taking on a leadership role even if they haven't had this opportunity before.
Responsibilities
+ Design electrical systems for a variety of projects, including municipal/government buildings, mission-critical facilities, car dealerships, carwashes, commercial laundries, convenience stores, healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, offices, institutional buildings, religious facilities, restaurants, schools, and universities.
+ Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
+ Oversee project management tasks including time management and budget analysis.
+ Interface with clients from project initiation to completion.
+ Ensure successful resource management within the team.
Essential Skills
+ At least 10 years of experience in designing electrical systems for commercial buildings.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
+ Ability to manage projects and an engineering team.
+ Client interfacing skills from start to finish of a project.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Revit is a plus.
+ Ability to lead and inspire a team of designers and engineers.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based with some hybrid flexibility once established. The company offers a modified schedule option with the possibility of having every other Friday off. Our full-time permanent position includes healthcare, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families, with 100% of the premiums covered by the company. We offer a 401K retirement plan with a 50% company match up to 8%, long-term disability, life insurance, and $5000 of tuition assistance annually. Additional benefits include performance-based annual bonuses up to four weeks' salary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
This is a full-time permanent position with healthcare/dental/vision insurance for employee and family paid 100% by the company, 401K retirement plan with 50% company match up to 8%, long-term disability, life insurance and the option to work nine-hour days with every other Friday off. $5000 of tuition assistance available annually to include college degree programs, professional certifications, and advanced licensure along with associated prep courses and exam fees. Annual end-of-year bonuses are also awarded as up to 4 weeks of salary based on performance
