SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team Perth, supporting diverse projects across critical metals, battery minerals, and broader engineering portfolios. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions, provide technical leadership, and manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems for mining, mineral processing, and other industrial projects.
• Develop electrical design drawings (SLDs, schematics, terminations) from first principles, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
• Perform electrical calculations (load studies, cable sizing, equipment sizing) and prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver efficient, tailored engineering solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customised solutions.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering design, commissioning, and testing within mining or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics and control systems.
• Proven ability to manage projects from conception to delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for technical documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
