Job Description

The Senior Engineer - Application supports and promotes networking and infrastructure products, systems, and services. This position requires the technical knowledge of engineering, using, designing or implementing medium and/or high voltage electrical products utilized by the electric utility industry. This role will also assist sales management in training the WESCO sales force on relevant product information valuable in selling to electric utilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise in, Electrical and infrastructure products, acts as domain expert internally and externally.
  • Provides pre-sales support, including system engineering, product selection, compatibility confirmation, and process layout.
  • Provides post-sales support, including programming support and training, system, process, and product start up, and customer support and training.
