Job Description
We are seeking an experienced L3 Backup & Recovery Specialist with deep expertise in Commvault also supporting enterprise backup operations in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will also possess working knowledge of Net Backup as a secondary skillset. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, solution design, and operational excellence in backup and recovery services for mission-critical workloads. In addition, has accountability for ensuring data integrity, and providing detailed documentation of operational procedures.

- Lead and manage complex backup and recovery operations using Commvault in AWS cloud environments
-. Provide L3-level support, including root cause analysis, performance optimization, and resolution of escalated incidents
-. Integrate and optimize Commvault solutions with AWS native services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Glacier)
-. Support Net Backup environments as a secondary skillset, including configuration, monitoring, and incident resolution
-. Ability to build and design backup infrastructure
-. Ability to manage multiple tape libraries of backup infrastructure
-. Understands and has excellent knowledge and skills to trouble shoot backup issues, tape issues, and storage issues
-. Needs to be proficient in backup schedules and policies
-. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance
-. Participate in audits, DR drills, and capacity planning activities
-. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed
-. Must thoroughly understand Commvault through command line and GUI
-. Must understand Linux and Windows commands and understand how to troubleshoot backup issues on both windows servers, and Linux servers
-. Must follow established company processes, including change management, incident management, and problem management processes
-. Must have experience with automating backup processes, as well as using Commvault Workflows
-. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
-. Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations

Experience in Commvault L3 level – 5 plus yea
Experience in netbackup – L2 level experience
Experience in AWS - L2 lev
