Job Description

  • Position – Senior Engineer

  • Qualification – Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Reporting – Manager

  • Experience - 6+ years’ relevant experience

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Steers all activities to fulfil the customer requirement book (SOR)Is primary technical contact for customer, manufacturing, competence center, prototype manager, purchase etc.

  • Preparation of Technical documentation such as Product Technical specification, DVP&R, ED&T Budgets RASIC, DFMEA etc

  • Prepare & lead Technical review with customer

  • Co ordination with Internal Engineering Team such as Simulation Testing & validation & prototypes

  • Preparation & release design for prototype, Simulation & Testing activities

  • Preparations of time plan for engineering deliverable

  • Follow Tenneco Product development cycle & ensure its critical deliverable closures as per schedule (PDR, PFRA etc)

  • Define DVPR Test procedure & boundary conditions specification & execute accordingly

  • Conducting design review with customer including manufacturing feasibility assessment

  • Verification of final design & drawing check

  • Ensures that quality and technical content of customer prototypes and validation samples accord to the development status

  • Supporting & resolve on proto quality issues/ testing issues / fitment issues

  • Help support for Engineering change implementation & documentation
