Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Monitor/maintain the operational, performance and integrity of the company's enterprise Infrastructure which includes but not limited to Applications, Websites, Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, applications, HVAC, PDUs, etc. Follow the documented standard operating procedure defined by the customer. Co-ordinate with various IT teams for follow ups and escalations. Initiate conference calls for any major outages and discussions. Troubleshoot problems. Working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within their defined areas. Track issues. Tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in detail through a designated ticketing system. Report incidents. Escalating complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate Provide documentation for process changes and format updates; Minimize risk and exposure to system security and business interruption on company's infrastructure. Actively participate in disaster recovery and BCP events Work/escalates issues with vendors for any issues related to their product(s) Work on ADHOC requests for reports and any other tasks assigned by senior/Lead/Manager Follow the defined procedure for Shift Hand over. 100% compliance to Information security related activities NOC Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Preferred knowledge on monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, AppDynamics and Extrahop. Knowledge on ServiceNow Knowledge of incident management, Change Management, and Problem management. Knowledge on F5 and load balancers, Firewall/router/networking equipment o Enterprise level process and escalations Preferred Certifications: CCNA, ITIL Foundation. Ability to work flexible hours. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.
