About the role

The Grid Performance and Integration team sits within AEMO’s Operational Resilience Group and is responsible for the investigation, study and management of existing and emerging technical risks in a rapidly changing power system. We do this through the detailed investigation of power system incidents and the assessment and modelling of critical power system risks; these tasks lead to the implementation of key changes to enhance overall power system resilience. You will leverage your expertise in communication, power system engineering, operations or design to understand current and future power system risks and develop means to reduce and mitigate this risk. This will involve supporting the delivery of key risk and performance documents as required under the National Electricity Rules and WEM Rules, including AEMO’s General Power System Risk Review, major power system incident reviews and others.
