Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation supervision, commissioning, and quality control of electrical systems for large-scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The role involves ensuring the project is executed as per technical standards, safety norms, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering:
Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable layouts, earthing layouts, and electrical system design for solar PV plants.
Select and specify electrical components like inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and cables.
Conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (like IEC, IS), and utility requirements.
