 AEMO’s System Design division plays a central role in shaping and planning the future power system as Australia undergoes rapid transformation. As renewable generation scales and electrification accelerates, the volume of new transmission, distribution and generation projects continues to grow at an unprecedented rate. With more than GW of new generation forecast to connect over the next 30 years, this role places you at the centre of the nation’s energy transition. You will help integrate a diverse mix of technologies — including onshore and offshore wind, hydro, solar, battery and storage systems, and emerging hydrogen projects — ensuring the system evolves reliably and efficiently.
