Main Purpose:


To provide comprehensive support for FPSO contract management, Offloading operations planning, logistics coordination, and compliance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and incident-free offloading operations. The role focuses on ensuring smooth coordination between RIL and contractor teams, and driving adherence to statutory, safety, and operational requirements.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Contract Management

  • Manage FPSO contracts, including invoice pre-certification and downtime analysis.
  • Evaluate contractor performance against KPIs and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Review and process Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) and invoices promptly.
  • Monitor contractor expenditure to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation.


2. Marine & Offloading Operations

  • Ensure timely call-out orders for tugs, surveyors, and offloading operations.
  • Coordinate port formalities, immigration, and crew transfers from Kakinada Port.
  • Monitor and document fuel usage, timings, and ODAG compliance.
  • Prepare budgets and scopes of work for marine activities
  • Ensure all marine equipment certifications and compliance requirements are maintained.


3. Logistics & Personnel Movement

  • Coordinate chopper and marine logistics for personnel and cargo movement.
  • Ensure offshore travelers meet all statutory and company requirements (BOSIET, medicals, etc.).
  • Develop logistics plans for efficient movement and optimize chopper/vessel utilization.
  • Ensure aviation and marine operations comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with security for proper access control and visitor management.


4. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Support compliance with Class, Flag, and Port State regulations, ensuring vessel operational status.
  • Ensure adherence to MoPNG, W&M, and PSC requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate ABS/IRS class surveys, ensuring documentation readiness and follow-up on findings.
  • Maintain detailed records of survey results, corrective actions, and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, and HSE guidelines.
  • Coordinate with logistics for offshore operations, including mooring and offloading activities.


5. Budgeting & Procurement

  • Support in Preparation of annual and operational budgets for FPSO.
  • Raise and monitor Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in coordination with P&C team.
  • Ensure procurement and expenses comply with company policies and budgetary limits.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Marine / Chemical or equivalent) or equivalent qualification in marine operations.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in FPSO / offshore oil & gas operations/marine and offloading operations.
  • Experience with offshore logistics, planning tools, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with Class/Flag requirements and offshore HSE management systems.
