Roles and Responsibilities:







The Senior Project Controls Engineer will report to the Project Controls Manager



Specific responsibilities include:





+ Developing and maintaining the Projects Project Controls Plans, own the controls processes.



+ Developing and maintaining Project Execution Schedules including Level 1/2/3 schedules. Ensure alignment on project assumptions with cost engineering, cost estimation, risk management and project management.



+ Implement Schedule requirements of Company into the planning and cascade these to the contractors accordingly.



+ Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather inputs for the master schedule.



+ Monitor progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual performance.



+ Review both the client’s and internal project reports.



+ Provide support to Client on all the assurance, verification work that as requested



+ Establishment of the project man-hour control system and the maintenance of the system.



+ Establishment of the project cost control system and management of the system covering all the cost control processes and alignment activities.



+ Verification of the monthly invoices.



+ Establishment of the project planning system and management of the system covering all the cost project planning processes, management of all the project plans and alignment activities.



+ Establishment of the project cost estimation system and management of the system covering all the cost estimation processes including benchmarking and alignment activities.



+ Participate in evaluating bid schedules and reviewing and assessing contractor plans to support contract award recommendations.



+ Develop contract sections for planning and progress monitoring and reporting. Review, verify, assess contractors reported progress and ensure that this is reflected in the project schedule.



+ Own and manage the Contract project’s risk management process.



+ Responsible in ensuring the alignment of project information and data in the development of project services deliverables









Education, Skills & Experience:



Education



Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline



Experience and Skill set





+ Minimum 12 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry.



+ Experience in cost control, cost estimating, project scheduling and risk management and alignment of these disciplines



+ Experience in portfolio management of projects



+ Experience in managing resources in a multidiscipline team.



+ Team player with clear evidence of working with others to deliver on goals.
