What we do:

YEMI primarily focuses on manufacturing of Industrial Engines and sales and service of the Industrial Engines/Agricultural Products/ Marine (Small – Medium & Large) Engines. Additionally, YEMI is running a full-fledged R&D center, with the vision of developing a global R&D center in India and to provide the cost and technological merits of India to the Yanmar Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Regulatory Coordination

  • Establish and maintain contacts with YPT compliance group for ongoing exchange of regulatory information.
  • Track changes in BIS standards and import regulations, update internal teams and suppliers accordingly.

Chemical & Environmental Compliance

  • Develop and implement a system to quickly respond to changes in chemical hazard regulations (TSCA, RoHS2, REACH, POPs, OEM-specific).
  • Conduct conformity checks for all materials used in products to ensure compliance with TSCA, RoHS2, REACH, POPs, and OEM relevant regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor IMS documentation related to environmental compliance.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Keep up-to-date compliance records, registers, and declarations of conformity for all products.
  • Prepare and submit JAPIA sheets for localized components and register them in Pro Chemist system.
  • Prepare and submit annual production records to YPT for emission certificate label printing.

IMDS & Procurement Support

  • Collaborate with Procurement team to manage IMDS for localized components ensuring compliance.

BIS Certification for Imported Parts

  • Ensure all imported parts comply with BIS mandatory certification requirements under CRS.
  • Prepare and submit BIS certification applications for imported components before customs clearance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including test reports, invoices, packing lists, and compliance certificates.
  • Coordinate with Japan plant for technical documents, samples, and conformity details.


Education and Work Experience Requirements:


  • Good technical knowledge of diesel engine and its functioning
  • Knowledge of chemical hazard regulations TSCA, RoHS2, REACH
  • Strong understanding of BIS CRS
  • Ability to manage compliance with timelines and resolve regulatory issues quickly
  • Knowledge on ISO 9001/14001
  • Excellent documentation and coordination skills
  • Proficiency on creating documents and giving presentations
  • Good system knowledge


Education - BE / BTech / Diploma

Experience - Similar working experience of 8 Years
