Position’s main focus will be as an agile scrum master manage the Software development for Life Safety products. Enrich & foster climate of innovation to drive growth & accelerate capability development. This includes:
'• Promote and support Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide
• Coach the team in self‑management, cross‑functionality, and Agile engineering practices.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
• Ensure ceremonies are productive, timeboxed, and outcome‑oriented.
• Help the team focus on delivering high‑value increments aligned with the Definition of Done.
• Support predictable delivery by protecting the team from over‑commitment and scope creep.
• Track and communicate metrics (velocity, burn‑down, team health).
• Identify and eliminate impediments quickly; escalate when necessary.
• Champion continuous improvement via retrospectives and actionable improvement items.
• Assist the PO in Product Backlog management, refinement techniques, and Product Goal definition.
• Ensure Product Backlog items are clear, concise, prioritized, and ready.
• Lead, train, and coach stakeholders on Agile practices and Scrum adoption.
• The Scrum Master will ensure end‑to‑end cadence, facilitate vertical feature slicing, support dependencies across IoT Gateways, FW, Apps, Cloud, and Field Tools
**Qualifications:**
Bachelors in computer science / electronics/ E&TC/ Instrumentation engineering
'Experience in Program‑level reporting & cadence
3–6 years as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery facilitator
2–4 years domain exposure in IoT, FW/Cloud/App ecosystems, or Building Safety (EL/Fire) will be preffered
2–3 years cross‑functional team experience (FW, Cloud, Mobile, Hardware)
1–3 years multi‑team / scaled Agile experience (Scrum‑of‑Scrums, program syncs)
Experience supporting global engineering teams
**Skills:**
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common engineering workflows. Familiarity with web, mobile, and desktop application technologies (e.g., Angular, C#, .NET, WPF).
Ability to work with technical leads to plan sprints and align timelines.
Practical knowledge of Agile engineering practices
Understanding of DevOps tools & workflows (e.g., CI/CD, backlog tools like Jira/Azure Boards).
Ability to read and interpret technical task breakdowns, estimations, dependencies, and risks.
Knowledge of integration workflows across backend, frontend, QA, cloud infrastructure, and firmware (where applicable).
Familiarity with Definition of Done (DoD), acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
Ability to identify technical blockers and escalate issues effectively.
Understanding of metrics (velocity, burndown, flow efficiency) and how to interpret them for continuous improvement.
Knowledge of Scrum artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment) and how they relate to technical execution.
Awareness of technical craftsmanship principles—clean code, maintainability, testing approach, and system stability.
Basic understanding of API, cloud, and system integration concepts to support cross‑functional collaboration.
Ability to collaborate with architects, full‑stack engineers, QA, UX, and DevOps to ensure delivery alignment.
