Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site supplier assessments / audits for potential new suppliers
  • Assess suppliers’ capabilities and capacity and identify supplier risks
  • Final product approval according Liebherr and standard quality deliverables (PPAP/PPF)
  • Coordinate corrective actions in case of product deviations (8D-Reporting)
  • Plan, organize and conduct process approval audits or escalated complaints / problem audits at suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure fulfillment of Liebherr quality performance target
  • Coordinate change management at supplier (Drawing Revision, Part modification etc.)
  • Coordinating with Technical team to provide suppliers with solutions helpful for validation
  • Working closely with the plant quality team on serial shipment
  • Ensure all necessary documentation related to supplier Audit, Product Audit, Product Report.

    Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in similar field of Supplier Quality Management/Development, Process Quality, or Inward Quality with experience in Combustion Engine manufacturing, operation, components, and systems.
  • Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

  • ISO VDA 6.3 / ISO 9001 / IATF Certified Auditor /Lead Auditor & Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., SAE, ASTM, DIN). Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
  • Proficient in APQP/FMEA/PPAP, with expertise in Problem solving Technics including 7QC Tools and Six sigma
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machining processes Milling, turning, grinding, honing, Cutting tools & fixtures.
  • Through understanding of engine function, Engine assembly & 5C parts (Crankcase, Crankshaft, Camshaft Connecting rod, Cylinder Head etc)
  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing): Expert understanding of interpreting and applying GD&T symbols and requirements. Ability to design inspection plans based on GD&T.
  • Proficiency in using various measurement tools: Callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines – programming and operation).
  • Familiarity with process like Foundry, Forging, Heat treatment, Welding, Painting & surface treatments
