Job Description
**What you’ll do:**
The incumbent is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing technology intelligence & IP practices across one or more Eaton businesses. S/he is expected to provide technology and product insights and recommendations through technical/competitive intelligence and contribute to IP strategy for various programs in the organization.
• Drive actionable technology intelligence/ IP Analaysis for key strategic themes for Eaton's businesses and deliver impactful recommendations to senior leadership including CTOs, global technology directors, business leaders.
• She / He is expected to share reports / insights within the organization on trends and highlight whitespace for solution development.
• Conduct patent landscape/watch analysis, identifying the trend of the competitors and/or emerging technologies, whitespace and developing IP strategy to protect & commercialize key technologies.
