Senior Engineering Cost & Estimation Specialist

Overview

This role combines core structural/mechanical engineering capability with strong project cost estimation expertise to support the Design Team during the enquiry and tendering phase. The primary objective is to strengthen the accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness of cost estimates and technical offers, while maintaining engineering depth to validate concepts, assumptions, and design feasibility. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on project cost estimation and commercial-technical coordination with stakeholders, with the remaining 30% covering selected engineering and analytical tasks. The role is supported by a lead engineer for coordination of sub-contractors and hands-on design work. It requires a strong understanding of mechanical and structural engineering principles, experience in design, manufacturing, and project management, and experience with port cranes.
