A day as a Senior Engineering Manager at bGenius:

You start the day with a stand-up with your team, where your role is to facilitate, allowing your team to lead the discussion and ensure the right priorities are set. You set your team up for success by empowering your team, promoting problem solving, and strengthening your team cohesion. Following the stand-up you partner and align with the product team to ensure everything is still on track and if adjustments need to be made. You ensure harmony between all teams involved in the development of our products while remaining the bedrock of support for the engineering team. 

Post-lunch you have a one-on-one with a member of your team discussing their well-being, growth, workload, and any open topics. Afterwards you dedicate time to addressing technical challenges and providing guidance and coaching to team members.
