Job Description


  • Should have MCS-ACS _DPS knowledge and shall be responsible for creating the low level, High Level, Interface, As built designs and testing and commissioning documents and procedures for the MRT and Mainline Projects.Should have MCS-ACS _DPS knowledge and shall be responsible for creating the Solution and Proposal documents and construction methodology required for bidding submission for Telecom Scope of Works in MRT and Mainline Projects.Should have MCS-ACS _DPS knowledge and shall be responsible for creating the preliminary and Final BoQ for MRT and Mainline Projects.Should have MCS-ACS _DPS knowledge and shall be responsible for creating the TOR required to share with the third-party agencies f for MRT and Mainline Projects.Should have MCS-ACS _DPS knowledge and shall be responsible for creating the TOR required to share with the third-party agencies f for MRT and Mainline Projects.The DA MCS-ACS _DPS shall be responsible for receiving technical compliance and OEM credentials for assisting the MRT and Mainline Projects.
  • The Candidate should have the knowledge of designing the solution for Access Control and Intrusion detection system in railways projects which includes the configuration of servers, Electromagnetic locks, Biometric authentication, Card Readers, Pushbuttons and Interface with CCTV and HRMS.
  • The candidate should be able to undersatnd how to configure for attendance management and create various security zones based on priority for areas access 
  • Candidate should know the testing and interface protocol and methodology between the ACS Vs Fire, ACS Vs AFC for card swapping and ACS vs BMS for emergency door release feature.
  • False Safe mode operation of ACS.
  • Configuration of Main Master Clock, Sub master Clock and Slaves Clocks 
  • IP – Ingress Protection specifications for the recommended products as per railways Practices 
  • Knowledge of PTP, NTP, TCP/IP, Dry Contact and Modbus Protocols 
  • RAMS and EMC knowledge for the applicable subsystems for IEC, BS and EN Standards 
  • Knowledge of NFPA guideline for Fire and Safety
  • GPS (UTC), NavIC specification and Interfaces -MCS 
  • Knowledge on the water level indicator, Rail and Air temperature sensors, Anemometer, Rain Gauge and Water Level indicator and Disaster Prevention system and Data Logger interface TCP/IP, Modbus and Dry contact / Digital interfaces and specifications.
