Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with product and business objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.

    • 2. Technology & Architecture

  • Collaborate with the Technical Architecture Group to: Oversee system architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities. Enforce best practices in software development and DevOps.

    • 3. Product Development & Quality

  • Work closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Drive agile development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Oversee quality assurance and release certification processes.
  • Own and evolve the technical roadmap in alignment with long-term business goals.

    • 4. Operational Excellence

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for engineering resources and infrastructure based on product roadmap and implementation needs.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure engineering productivity and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in building, managing, and transforming large engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in: Java-based backend development Angular front-end PostgreSQL database
  • Experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with the Sprout framework, AWS Cloud, and Flutter is a plus.
  • Domain experience in logistics, energy, or resource management is an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
