Job Description
We're looking for a highly technical Engineering Manager to lead the teams and architecture behind Search, Navigation, and Product Discovery experiences for a large-scale e-commerce platform.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering leadership, architecture, and product, owning a critical domain that directly impacts conversion, performance, and customer experience.
What you'll do
Lead the technical strategy and architecture for Search & Discovery across web and mobile platforms
Own core discovery experiences: search results, category/landing pages, navigation, filters, relevance, and recommendations
Partner closely with Product to drive data-driven decisions, experimentation, and measurable business impact
Scale and mentor high-performing engineering teams (including distributed teams)
Ensure high standards in performance, scalability, and user experience
