Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business development for our engineering and simulation services.
This is a techno-commercial role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys engaging with customers, understanding technical problems, and translating engineering value into commercial outcomes.
The role involves owning the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and technical discovery to proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and closure. Over time, this role can grow into key account ownership and sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities for engineering and simulation services across multiple industries
- Engage with engineering, R&D, program, and procurement teams to understand technical challenges and project needs
- Position Aetos’ capabilities in design engineering, simulation, system analysis, and validation support
- Lead techno-commercial discussions, including scope definition, effort estimation, and pricing
- Prepare customized proposals and presentations aligned to customer needs and program timelines
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to ensure accurate scoping and delivery alignment
- Drive deal closures and meet defined revenue and growth targets
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and repeat business
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and technical discussions
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools
Qualification & Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B technical or engineering sales
- Engineering background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar fields
- Strong understanding of engineering services and product development lifecycles
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, business-relevant terms
- Comfortable handling pricing, negotiations, and commercial discussions
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, structured, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements
