Key Responsibilities

  • Lead installation, setup, and qualification (IQ) of new manufacturing and test equipment for laser, optical sub-assembly, and alignment systems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, process, and facilities engineering to ensure new tools meet beam alignment, optical precision, and cleanliness requirements.
  • Conduct FAT, calibration, and validation for tools such as optical metrology instruments, thermal chamber, vacuum chamber, wire bonders, plasma systems, and
  • Develop and maintain equipment documentation including SOPs, maintenance manuals, and calibration records.
  • Implement and improve predictive maintenance programs, using data analytics, sensor feedback, and condition monitoring to reduce unplanned downtime and extend tool lifespan.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement projects to enhance alignment accuracy, throughput, and beam quality in optical and laser assembly lines.
