Senior ERP Implementation Specialist - EPS Global (Remote)

The Senior ERP Implementation Specialist, reporting to the IT Director, will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the ERP system across several locations in Asia, by ensuring the implementation is mapped and planned effectively to the customers' needs in each.
Work Location: India – Remote
Extensive travel required across locations in Asia including Malaysia, Thailand, China and India.
Overview:
This role requires attention to detail with an ability to grasp new concepts easily across business processes coupled with the conviction required to make sure team decisions are made quickly and logically. The Senior ERP Implementation Specialist will work with the transformation program daily and require interpersonal competence and people skills to champion, communicate, facilitate and motivate the team and the relevant stakeholders throughout the business.
The Senior ERP Implementation Specialist will work with the operational teams in various locations and ensure that a successful solution is delivered that supports the business requirements and produces all the required deliverables to the required quality standard.

Main duties:
Needs Assessment and Solution Design:
Analysing current business processes, identifying pain points, and understanding the organisation's objectives to recommend the most suitable ERP solution. Also, document the business process when it requires AS-IS and TO-BE.
System Configuration and Customisation:
Configuring the chosen ERP system to meet specific business requirements, including data migration, integration with existing systems, user training, and/or user training performed by the vendor.
Project Management:
Overseeing the entire implementation process, ensuring it stays on track, within budget, and aligned with the project's objectives.
User Training and Support:
Provide comprehensive training to users on effectively using the new ERP system and offer ongoing support to address any issues or questions.
Post-Implementation Optimisation:
Monitoring system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to maximize the system's value and efficiency. Develop and execute test plans and troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing phases.
Change Management:
Helping organizations navigate the changes associated with a new ERP system, including communication strategies and user adoption techniques.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in Odoo ERP implementation.
Language:
Fluent English
Strong understanding of ERP systems:
Proficiency in one or more ERP platforms (e.G., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and implementation experience across global locations preferable
Business process expertise:
In-depth knowledge of various business functions, such as finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and human resources, ideally in a customer-facing environment and across the full implementation lifecycle
Technical skills:
Understanding of database management such as SQL, system integration, and data migration.
Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office essential. Experience with Power BI and/or Crystal Reports will be a distinct advantage.
Project management skills:
Ability to plan, organise, and manage complex projects, including risk management and stakeholder communication.
Communication and interpersonal skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, facilitate training sessions, and build user rapport. Strong Interpersonal skills required.
