What requirements you'll need to be eligible

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Developer) are a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing D365FO (Dynamics AX) ERP systems.

  • Proven track record as a senior technical developer or technical lead on at least two full lifecycle D365FO implementations.

  • Strong expertise in X++ development.

  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices in a multi-environment (Dev/UAT/Prod) setup.

  • In-depth knowledge of D365FO data management, data migration (entities, templates), and integration frameworks.

  • Prior experience working across multiple regions or markets

  • Technical Proficiency
    Advanced X++ programming skills, including technical code merging and standardization.
    Hands-on experience with SQL Server administration: writing views, stored procedures, and managing security roles.
    Familiarity with integration technologies and platforms (e.g., REST/OData services, SSIS, Azure Service Bus, Power Platform).
    Exposure to emerging technologies (RPA, Azure Cloud Services, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is highly desirable.

    You will lead the development, maintenance, and configuration of D365FO ERP systems across multiple SEA regions, ensuring consistent standards, governance, and best practices across Dev, UAT, and Prod environments.


    Job Description:

  • Develop Technical Design & Implementation
    Develop and maintain technical design, solution, and implementation as a lead technical solution.
    Drive end-to-end solution implementation, ensuring alignment with regional requirements and corporate guidelines.

  • Specification & Code Review
    Create, review, and approve detailed technical specification documents.
    Lead code reviews for complex customizations, integrations, and new report development.
    Enforce code quality, maintainability, and adherence to D365FO best practices.

  • Delivery Audits & Continuous Improvement
    Perform regular delivery audits to assess solution quality and identify areas for enhancement in design or coding.
    Propose and implement improvements to existing processes, frameworks, and reusable components.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with local IT teams and end users to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and deliver optimizations.
    Partner with project managers, functional consultants, and external vendors to align on timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation.

  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor system performance (Dev, UAT, Prod), identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive tuning measures.
    Troubleshoot escalated production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Knowledge Sharing & Mentoring
    Stay current with the latest D365FO features, tools, and industry best practices; disseminate knowledge to the regional development team.
    Mentor junior and mid-level developers: conduct training sessions, pair programming, and skill-building workshops.
