Senior Estimator – Architectural Metalwork
If you’re an experienced estimator and most of your time is spent firefighting poor information, reworking bids late, or carrying responsibility without influence, this will be worth a look.
This is a senior estimating role within an established architectural metalwork business. The focus is pre-construction ownership rather than just pricing packages.
What the role actually involves
You’ll take responsibility for estimating architectural metalwork projects from enquiry through to submission.
That includes:

Reviewing drawings, specs and scopes to build realistic, defensible costings
*
Producing competitive tenders with clear assumptions and margins
*
Engaging suppliers and subcontractors early to firm up risk and pricing
*
Identifying commercial and technical risks before bids go in, not after
