Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine project scope and costs. Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure alignment on project objectives and budgets. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements. Provide cost analysis and value engineering suggestions to optimize project budgets. Monitor and update cost databases and historical project data to improve future estimates. Participate in client meetings to discuss project estimates and provide professional recommendations. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid submissions. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Estimator Commercial Construction should have: A strong understanding of commercial construction processes and industry standards. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to provide accurate estimates. The ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
