Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator position prepares detailed cost estimates for proposed new construction projects involving both competitive bid and negotiated type work. This position manages and performs a variety of estimating duties including quantity take- offs, database input, coordination of bid documents for distribution to Subcontractors, and research of product data and suppliers. Extensive knowledge of constructions costs and the ability to support the overall activities of the Preconstruction team are imperative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews construction documents for both negotiated and bid projects; determines both the nature and scope of the work to be performed.

Interfaces with a wide variety of professional people including architects, owner representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
