Senior Estimator

Description: Join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA, where you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and advance your career. This role primarily involves providing estimates and quantity takeoffs for various projects. You'll collaborate closely with Estimators and Project Managers, gaining valuable experience and training that can propel you to the title of Estimator. Your progress and success will determine the timing of this advancement. Responsibilities: Review and understand contract specifications, documents, and drawings to perform accurate takeoffs. Perform plan measurements to develop and verify quantity estimates. Stay current with industry-standard software and explore new technologies to expedite the takeoff process. Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally for complete takeoffs. Attend occasional project site visits and pre-bid meetings. Engage in special projects as necessary. Assist with other estimating duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree desired (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field); High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in the construction industry preferred.
