Senior Executive – FP&A
Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled candidate to oversee financial operations. across our India and US entities. This role will be responsible for managing FP&A activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-border finance management, compliance, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for both US and India operations.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership.
- Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Indian accounting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Transfer pricing workings and compliance
- US tax codes, labor-related taxes, and other compliance
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Support AP and AR teams in invoice verification, vendor payouts, and collections.
- Implement approval workflows for vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate aging reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely fund transfers between entities.
- Optimize working capital and manage currency exchange considerations.

- Process Improvement & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and implement automation tools.
- Ensure robust internal controls and risk management practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to align financial goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between US and India finance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA Semi CA,MBA or CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in finance operations, with exposure to international accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
Location
- Based in India with regular collaboration with US teams (or vice versa).
- Flexibility for occasional travel between regions.
