Job Summary
The Senior Executive, Global Distribution Operation plays a key role in the Global Distribution department at Millennium Hotels & Resorts. This role supports the execution and optimization of global distribution strategies through seamless integration, system management, and operational excellence. Acting as a bridge between corporate teams, hotels, and external partners, this position is instrumental in implementing best practices, maintaining system accuracy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting revenue generation initiatives across the group.
Responsibilities (Including but not limiting to)
- As an integral member of the Global Distribution Team, provide best-in-class service to all incoming requests; investigate and troubleshoot escalated issues whilst continuously identifying and acting on opportunities to optimize processes.
- Support the Global Distribution team through various levels of assistance in a hands-on fashion to manage day-to-day operation.
- Be the subject matter expert for all rate loadings and GDS mappings.
- Process Optimization. Thoroughly understand the entire Rate Loading operation, provide suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Be the expert of our Central Reservation System - spearhead all product enhancements, internal systems training and keep abreast of new features.
- Establish close working relationships with external vendors to ensure all systems are performing at the optimal level.
- CRS integration related matters, assist new hotel system onboarding.
What Is Expected
- Prior working knowledge of hospitality technologies such as Central Reservation Systems (CRS such as Windsurfer, Synxis, Ihotelier and others), Property Management Systems (PMS such as Opera), and Global Distribution Systems (GDS such as Sabre, Amadeus etc.)
- Curious and a continuous learner, has a knack for understanding the system overall, strong ability and desire to identify root cause, and is proactive in addressing potential issues.
- Strong communication skills and command of English with an ability to interface with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in system integration/migration in hotel chain environment would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in partner/vendor management is desirable.
