Freight Forwarding Vertical: Export FCL & LCL
Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The role is responsible for handling end-to-end customs clearance operations for import and export shipments in India and the United States, ensuring compliance with all applicable customs laws, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle import and export customs clearance for India and US shipments.
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation including:
- Bill of Entry
- Shipping Bill
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- ISF (Importer Security Filing – US)
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government authorities.
- Manage HS code classification, duty calculation, valuation, and tariff interpretation for both countries.
- Handle customs queries, inspections, audits, and disputes, if any.
