Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Executive Payroll to manage and execute payroll processing for blue-collar employees. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll compliance, timekeeping, wage calculations, and ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling large workforce payrolls, statutory compliance, and payroll software operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing & Management:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for blue-collar workers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Ensure timely salary disbursements, deductions, and reimbursements.
Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
2. Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, etc.
Maintain payroll records in line with regulatory standards.
Coordinate with finance and legal teams for manpower vendor payments, audits, and inspections.
3. Attendance & Timekeeping:
Coordinate with HR and operations to track attendance, leaves, overtime, and shifts.
Verify biometric or manual attendance records for accuracy.
4. Coordination & Reporting:
Collaborate with HR, finance, and vendors for smooth payroll execution.
Prepare payroll reports, analytics, and MIS reports for management review.
Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and tax calculations.
5. Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance efficiency.
Work with software teams to streamline payroll automation and reduce errors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for blue-collar workforce.
Education: Bachelor s degree in HR, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software/HRMS tools.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of statutory compliances (PF, ESI, LWF, etc.).
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, accuracy, and stakeholder management.
