Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of spare parts for machinery (Domestic sourcing).
  • Procure consumable items across mechanical, electrical, and other operational categories.
  • Prepare purchase orders for consumables and CAPEX items as required.
  • Prepare and monitor datasheets for advance payments made to suppliers and submit monthly status to the Purchase Head.
  • Prepare datasheets of pending purchase orders for consumable items and provide monthly updates to the Purchase Head.
  • Coordinate closely with Mechanical and Electrical department heads to ensure timely material requirements.
  • Assist the Purchase Head in low-value CAPEX procurement activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bechalor of Engineering in Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • At-least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or related functions.
  • Experience in engineering/manufacturing domain preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical consumables and spare parts.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and ability to maintain structured data sheets.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and reporting skills.
