Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Fire Protection Engineer to be based in our Orange, CA office. Role is hybrid, but also open to remote depending on location.
This individual will be playing a lead role in design, testing, and inspection of fire protection and life safety systems. They will also serve as a senior technical resource, offering specialized input to studies and design efforts while developing procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of engineering work. Work areas include private, state, federal and military, corrections, transportation, industrial, healthcare, and more.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Design fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special suppression systems, and more.
Develop life safety code compliance plans.
Develop permit documents.
