    Job Description

    Reporting to Head R&D your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and design innovative flavours for Develop new and innovative flavors for a variety of products, including beverages and sweet goods.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and ensure the quality and stability of flavour formulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align flavour development with product goals.
  • Research market trends and consumer preferences to identify flavour opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, processes, and test results.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards during product development.
  • Provide technical support to clients for flavour-related requirements and challenges.
  • Optimise existing flavour formulations to enhance performance and reduce costs.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Senior Flavourist should have:

  • A degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in flavour creation & new product development, with proven exposure to beverages, sweet goods, and dairy
  • Possesses strong technical knowledge of flavor chemistry, sensory science, and regulatory frameworks
  • Brings excellent collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience working in customer-facing roles or supporting product commercialisation is a strong advantage
