Senior Fronted Developer (React)

Project Description:

You'll be working in the global Fixed Income Rates and Credit markets technology team. We are a fast-paced, highly motivated, delivery-focused but friendly team, present in 8 cities in 6 countries covering the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Our job is to create and deliver innovative solutions for business problems, whilst maintaining a complex and multifaceted platform.

You will:

- Help us evolve the architecture of a complex Fixed Income Rates and Credit markets system

- Deliver on strategic initiatives to support the growth of our R&C business

- Collaborate with global business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements

- Design and implement solutions, writing high-quality, production-grade code

- Work across the full software development lifecycle, in an agile team, using automated testing

- Coordinate releases and dependencies across teams, facilitating cross-team collaboration

- Take responsibility and ownership for the system, perform level 3 support to resolve production defects, and steer the production operations team in rollout and support-related matters

Mandatory Skills Description:

- 8 to 14 years of professional experience in front-end development.

- Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and Redux.

- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment best practices.

- Proficiency in Kafka and other messaging/middleware technologies for distributed systems.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

- Familiarity with modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).

- Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.

- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Experience with Java Core.

- Experience in financial services or trading platforms, particularly in Rates and Credit domains.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or similar.

- Understand the sense of urgency and work in the front office area of any investment bank.

- Good to have experience working with investment banks.
