We are seeking a frontend software engineer with expertise in building high‑quality web applications from the ground up. As part of a cross‑functional team of exceptional engineers and product managers, you will develop new features and provide best‑in‑class support to help our partners scale their businesses.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React + TypeScript, with a focus on evolving our web app architecture.
• Backend: Scala, with a suite of GCP services.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Design, build, and review code for the HTS Checkout web front‑end.
• Operate autonomously while collaborating closely with engineers and product managers to ensure high alignment.
• Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with the product team and other Hopper teams.
• Maintain a low‑meeting culture with emphasis on asynchronous decision making.

Ideal Candidate

• Senior‑level experience and deep familiarity with React.
• Ability to drive toward a thoughtful and creative solution.
• Strong autonomy, iterative improvement, and context management.
• Comfort with ambiguity and balancing multiple features without compromising code quality.
